Troy Woolley

Hailing from a tiny speck on the map in rural Arkansas where he grew up on his family's chicken farm, Troy's addresses since childhood have ranged from New York City to Cape Town, South Africa, with several other stops in between. Along the way he's developed a unique combination of farm-raised practicality and global curiosity. With SocialQ, he's finally found a way to marry an obsession with what makes people tick with his desire to build something new.

Prior to founding SocialQ, Troy was director of business development at Fahrenheit 212, an innovation consultancy in New York City. He holds an MBA in finance from The Wharton School and lives on the Upper West Side with his wife, two kids, and the family dog.

Joe loves data. No, he really loves it. Joe spent several years developing data models for the US intelligence community – from statistical algorithms to detect lies in airport security lines to increasing the accuracy of missile guidance systems. And now he's settled on SocialQ and the high-flying world of market research to make his next mark on the world. Here, he's the guy who makes everything work, adding gears and buttons to what otherwise appears to be a magical black box.

Joe studied electrical engineering at University of Pittsburgh and later completed a master's in applied math at the University of Maryland. Since then, he's worked for several large defense contractors and government security agencies doing all sorts of super secret projects. Joe pairs his mathematical brilliance with a sense of Lower East Side Cool and has an affinity for red shoes.

Tim Hungerford

Designer, Front-end Developer

Tim climbs a lot of rocks. Big rocks, and he's climbed them all over the world. He has more airline miles than most management consultants, mostly accrued in his pursuit of more rocks to climb. When he isn't climbing, he's designing. And he does so brilliantly.

Tim studied marketing at Indiana University and is a self-taught designer. He's designed and built training applications for medical devices, and myriads of websites and online products as a sought-after freelancer. He, too, resides in the Lower East Side and lives in the same building as Joe. Rumor has it that he dates Joe's sister, but we don't bring that up too often.
